Current Project Status Outlook
Updated 10/07/2024

The substantial completion date for the majority of the project items is October 11th, and the project is on schedule to meet that deadline. Substantial completion means that all infrastructure is ready for its intended use. A common concern when the construction season closes in the fall is grass establishment. Ultimately the contractor is responsible for grass establishment, including watering and weed control. There is a final completion date of June 20, 2025 that is mostly intended for final acceptance of grass establishment. It is a common practice for this to take place in the spring/early summer of the next year when construction extends into October. The contractor will also be active in working on punch list items within the remaining construction season and next spring to correct items that are not fully finished or to correct defective items that have been identified.
